The Mini Grand Prix race is a fund raising event held each year to raise money for different organizations . All of the money stays in our community. This is a great way to get your employees or team members involved in the community, build comradery and friendships and help make Greenville a better place to live. A special racecourse is designed to include a variety of challenging bends and hairpin turns that place a premium on driving skill, acceleration and maneuverability. This annual event has all of the "feel" of a big time racing event, including pace cars, team uniforms, customized race cars, a special VIP area, and of course a pit row and gasoline alley. The Greenville Lions Club Mini Grand Prix is a major event that includes a full day of racing and entertainment for the whole family. This fun filled event is expected to draw a very large crowd, all cheering for their favorite company car to cross the coveted checkered flag. Each team
consists of two (2) drivers, three (3) pit crew members and one (1) alternate
driver. The course is approximately 1/3 of a mile and includes a series
of straights, bends and hairpin turns. Races are comprised of twenty (20)
lap "heats". Each car will be entered in three (3) races; two (2) preliminary
heats and the championship race. During each heat, there will be mandatory
pit stops for driver and tire changes. After the preliminary heats, a
twenty-five (25) lap championship race will be conducted to determine
the overall winners. Trophy presentations will take place after the championship
race at the Start/Finish Line. PRICING
